MAJOR MIXED TRIPLES TOURNAMENT
26TH - 27TH SEPTEMBER 2009
Hosted by the Newcastle Pétanque Club, this Mixed Triples Tournament will have the following competition format, based on a maximum of forty teams competing.
• Welcome, Free Breakfast and Registration – from 9.00 am Saturday 26th September
• Registration Fee: $75 per team
• Play Starts at 10.30 am sharp on Saturday and 9.00 am Sunday
• All Players must have a current PFA or overseas licence
• Format - Seven Preliminary Rounds to 13 points to be completed by 11.00 am Sunday
• Elimination Finals – Top 16 (based on 40 teams)
• Consolante Knock Out provided for Teams outside top 16 in Groups of 8
Prizemoney & Trophies – 90% of registration money plus sponsors money of $1,000 will be returned as prize money. The distribution of prizes will be as follows.
Amounts will be subject to change if less than forty teams.
Principal – 1st $1,500 + Medal
2nd $750 + Medal
3rd $480 + Medal
4th $240
5th $120
6th $120
7th $75
8th $75
Consolante – Winner and Runner Up teams in each
Group of 8 will receive $60 and $30 respectively
Food & Drinks will be supplied by the Club at reasonable prices.
Please NO BYO Drinks due to our Club’s Liquor Licencing conditions
